History & Artisans

This cactus is woven by artisan families from Michoacán, Mexico, who have worked with tule and chuspata weaving for generations. These fibers are obtained from lacustrine plants, dried in the sun, and re-wetted before weaving to regain flexibility. Each piece reflects a craft passed down from generation to generation and the care of handmade production.
